Toko Adachi

Chief Manager

Toko Adachi is a graduate of the Master of Science Degree Program (Biology) at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada. She also holds a diploma from the Forum of International Trade and Training, Algonquin College (Nepean, Canada), and has pursued basic medical training as well at Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (North York, Canada) . In addition, she has recently completed Medical and Pharmaceutical Translator Training Correspondence Course (I.C.O., Japan). Her experiences at academic and business fronts for over 11 years in Canada have given her a competitive edge in communication skills, and now she is making full use of such skills in translation and interpretation.

Rie Miyata

After graduating from the Department of English at Aichi Shukutoku (two-year) College, Rie Miyata had studied Travel (Sightseeing) Industry and taken training as a travel agent at Bay Path College in the US. After returning to Japan, she has been involved in English education for more than 10 years, delivering inspiring lectures to students in every generation. As a translator, her broad strengths are in translation for travel documentation, travel guidebooks, Japanese history and manuals for game software. In the past, she has translated business letters, judicial documents and communication materials for consulates. In addition, she has experience in making and revising drill questions in workbooks for Eiken (the 1st to the 4th levels).

Saya Namikawa

Saya Namikawa spent seven years in USA in her teens. She graduated from University of Massachusetts, Amherst with BM (percussion, piano performance and music theory), after three years at Northfield Mount Hermon (MA, USA). Upon her graduation, she went to Romania to work at Sibiu International Theater Festival. She works in the field of performing arts, especially where an English speaker is needed. She is currently working at a small theater in Yokohama, as well as working as assistant international coordinator for International Festival OKINAWA for Young Audience.

Sayan Ohta

Originally from Thailand, Sayan Ohta is a graduate of Bachelor of Science Degree Program (Nutrition) at Khon Kaen University in Khon Kaen, Thailand. After her arrival in 1990, she had taught Thai for 5 years at Berlitz Japan, while herself studying Japanese. During that period, she has participated several volunteer activities for fundraising to deal with Cambodian refugees to Thailand. She has been working as a part-time instructor at Kyoto Seika University since 1998, and at Foreign Language College of Kyoto University of Foreign Studies since 2000. She also aspiringly works as a translator, mainly in the areas of traveling and sightseeing.

Hyoung-Jun Kang

Born in South Korea, Hyoung- Jun Kang studied English in North West London College and graduated English Interpreter Course at Sunmoon University in South Korea. Kang has lived in Japan for more than 10 years, studying and working. He obtained a Master Degree in Education in the doctoral program of the education graduate school at the University of Tsukuba. He participates in a language education business for commercial firms and individuals. He also carries out simultaneous interpreting at business conference using professional interpreting skills as well as translating documents about public administrative issues. He can offer a good service in the fields of simultaneous interpreting of Korean and Japanese as well as the consecutive interpretation and translation of Korean, Japanese, and English.
